A misunderstood culinary delight which deserves so such more recognition than just the bottom place of a curry house menu! Steeped in centuries of history and exploration, the vindaloo is quite possibly one of the worlds earliest examples of global Gastronomic collaboration. The original dish of meat marinated in red wine and garlic. Made its way to the shores of goa (quite literally) in barrels of wine in the 15th Century. Over the years, the dish has evolved, from the initial Indian influence of fried Spices, onions, tomatoes and palm vinegar, to the fiery and addictive dish we all know. And loved here in the uk. We've gone one step further and created our own 'vivacious" Vegan vindaloo.
